She gained momentum with writing her books, Loving Self (Boo Black), Butterfly Blossoms (Rachel Bleu), Hurricane Helene Resiliency After the Storm, and her short stories, Homeless Again and It’s Only a Dream. However, interviews with Helene victims have lit a fire.

As a guest on multiple podcasts, Rebecca is listed in the 2026 Marquis Who’s Who List and regularly appears on various podcasts. Rebecca enjoys spending time with her girlfriend and three dogs, Smokey (Pitbull), Chaos (Boston Terrier), and Rylee (Boxer).

Authenticity, depression, suicidal ideation, abuse, racism, discrimination, destruction, and loss appear in each of her works. Although these topics are deeply disturbing, she writes to uplift and turn a bad situation into a positive outcome. For example, in Hating Self by Boo Black, she tells her truths about being black in an all-white town, but the chapters are written as lessons learned through her experiences. She didn’t write to blame, but to help others overcome their own demons.
